During out Science week we have been looking at the shadows. Year 5 and 6 created a puppet shows to show that how a shadow is exactly the same shape as the object which blocks the light. Year 3 and 4 investigated which materials were best to be used as curtains for a child that keeps waking up due to the early morning sunshine. They found that opaque materials were best as light cannot travel through the material.
